Stop Joe Lieberman.

Today I watched the news and was absolutely disgusted to find that
Sen. Joe Lieberman may be shutting down progressive health care reform
by himself! I have opposed the filibuster rule in the Senate for
quite some time, even though Sen. Harkin is raising that issue again
it will not be able to get passed in time to help us pass health care
reform.

Lets make our democracy work by putting pressure on Lieberman. How do
you put pressure on a politician? You make them look bad to their
constituents. Progressive Change Campaign Committee is an up and
coming organization that is widely being recognized as a liberal
megaphone in our political system. They have a great ad targeting
Sen. Joe Lieberman they want to air in Connecticut and are asking 3
dollars from health reform supporters like us to help them air it.

Please go to this link, watch the ad, and consider donating 3$

Joe Lieberman is such an epic douchebag! I donated money to Ned Lamont's campaign when he beat his ass in the primary, I was so pissed that CT voters were fooled into believing Joe when his said he was "with us on everything but the war."

Can we find that guy who sucker-punched Clausen and send him to CT to pay a visit to Lieberman???

A huge number of our fellow citizens (a majority, some polls suggest), including nontrivial numbers of Democrats, would have done the same as Lieberman. Yet somehow, Lieberman's decision that a somewhat different approach to healthcare legislation might be the way to go makes him disgusting, an a--hole, worthy of being punched in the face?

You stay classy, Lefty's.

That's funny Anon... because every poll on the public option shows a majority of Americans support it. EVERY POLL.

Oh, and I don't think Lieberman is worthy of being punched in the face... I think he deserves to lose his health insurance through one of the many loopholes insurance companies use to screw people, and then I think he deserves to be plagued by some chronic illness that dramatically lowers his quality of life and bankrupts his family... since he's okay with that happening to millions of Americans.

I don't wish it on him... but does he deserve it? Sure.

sigh... good old lefty's, still obscuring the obvious truth that Obama is the one backstabbing you.

http://salon.com/news/opinion/glenn_greenwald/2009/12/16/white_house/index.html

but go ahead with your little tv ad complaining about him. It wont make a difference because Obama has his back, and most of his voters are Republicans now anyways.

Jesus Blakey, it sucks that Obama has been sitting back during this process and letting assholes like Lieberman fuck things up, but it doesn't change the fact that Lieberman is an asshole that we would do well as a caucus to get rid of and/or stop catering to, which is what this post is about.
